Housing California hosts a conference each Spring in Sacramento,
California drawing over 1,000 professionals from the affordable
housing industry in California. The conference features
one day of intensive training institutes and two days of
workshops on issues affecting the development of affordable
housing, including supportive housing, with all aspects
of development, project financing, legislative updates and
other emerging issues and trends.

LISC is a national, non-profit intermediary that provides
technical and financial assistance to locally based nonprofit
community development corporations to assist in revitalizing
low-income communities. The San Francisco Bay Area Office
of LISC has been selected by the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development to provide technical assistance to
Certified Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO's)
operating in the greater Bay Area until 2001.
